Midwest Regional Conference

Dear MRC 2023 participants:

It is our great pleasure to welcome each one of you to Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) Midwest Regional Conference (MRC) on Science, Technology, & Engineering with an emphasis on passion for Science and Engineering. Local KSEA chapters in the Midwest have worked with an Affiliated Professional Society (APS) and Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) for the MRC 2023.

We invited researchers and engineers recognized in various research areas. As most of the professionals are from the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin), the participants will have sufficient time to exchange their research work, achievements, and recent technology trends throughout the conference. Additionally, we prepared a career development session for participants who would be interested in industry or academia after graduation. This conference will be a great chance for all participants to expand research collaboration and network with new people.

We would like to express our most profound gratitude to the organizing committees and volunteers for their dedication, and to the sponsors for their generous support. We are confident that MRC 2023 will offer a productive and memorable experience for each participant.

Code of Conduct

In addition to providing a welcoming environment for all participants, all MRC 2023 attendees must comply with the Code of Conduct. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

Physical assault
Unwelcome contact
Verbal or physical actions of intimidation, stalking, harassing, discrimination, and so on
Photographing or video recording oral presentations and/or posters
Photographing or video recording scientific or other sessions throughout the conference
Disruption of sessions or other events
Use of illegal substances including alcohol at the meeting
Sharing or borrowing meeting badges
